Perspective is all-important in sports. Everyone wants to win, but it is important sometimes to sit back and take stock of the journey. Juventus may not have won, but they were in the UEFA Champions final, after all! That is an immense achievement that very few teams accomplish. Playing against a team like FC Barcelona requires every ounce of ability, stamina, and sheer guts that a team can muster. I think that Juventus showed themselves to be a very worthy opponent, giving Barcelona a true run for their money with a tie in the 55th minute and pressure until the last moment of the game: http://www.theguardian.com/football/live/2015/jun/06/juventus-v-barcelona-champions-league-final-2015-live
I believe all eyes will be on Juventus next year as they continue to do well. They are at the top of the Seria A table this season: http://www.fifa.com/world-match-centre/nationalleagues/nationalleague=italy-serie-a-2000000026/standings/
This means that very likely Juventus will go into the 2015/2016 UEFA Champions (unofficial results) : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2015%E2%80%9316_UEFA_Champions_League
We can all look forward to an exciting 2015/2016 UEFA Champions tournament. We’ll see what happens…Juventus proved this year that anything is possible.
Ci sentiamo presto,
Lina
