Today in San Giorgio a Cremano, "Casa di Massimo Troisi" opened within the 18th century Villa Bruno. The small village close to Naples is indeed the birthplace of Massimo Troisi, the Italian actor born February 19, 1953, and dead at the age of 41 for the consequences of a rheumatic fever who caused him heart damage.
His brother, Luigi Troisi, created an association which will preserve the memory as well as will try to train new talents in the entertainment field.
The house, similar to a museum, will give the possibility to have a tour among objects and memories of Massimo’s most famous movie, Il Postino (The Postman): the bicycle, the musical instruments he loved to play with friends, his sofa, pictures on the walls.
