Three concentric squares: from the #Druids to the #Knights Templar

It never ceases to amaze me to find yet another new fascinating discovery
made by my friend Antonella who lives in Perugia.  The symbols that are
found in plain sight all over Italy which many of us are simply inured
to seeing in our travels end up having a rich history and deeper
symbolic meaning under the close scrutiny of someone like Antonella who
searches out those hidden meanings.  In this case she makes reference to
a symbol she discovered recently in the hillside town of Cocullo, near
L’Aquila in the Abruzzo region.

Such is the case of her article about the three concentric squares that may
be symbolically tied to the transmission of precepts of the school of
esoteric thought, to Druid gatherings, or to the Tower of Chinon where
the unfortunate Knights Templar were held prisoner.

I have translated her article from Italian and it makes for interesting reading, in my opinion.  Here is the link:  http://www.evus.it/en/index.php/news/zoom/three-concentric-squares-from-the-druids-to-the-knights-templar/

Ci sentiamo presto, Lina
