Surround yourself with #the Arts in November – FAI

The Fondo Ambiente Italiano or FAI (http://eng.fondoambiente.it/) is highlighting the wonderful work that they do all year by featuring some of the Arts events that will be presented during November, including discounts for FAI card holders. It looks like a great lineup.

Here is my English translation of some excerpts about the highlighted events:

Music to your ears
Free up your calendar on the 13th or 14th of November for the concert celebrating the two-hundreth anniversary of Verdi. The Symphony Orchestra and Symphonic Chorus of Milan: Giuseppe Verdi (L’Orchestra Sinfonica e Coro Sinfonico di Milano Giuseppe Verdi) will perform a concert that will be directed by Zhang Xian, based on the interpretation by Tchaikovsky and Berlioz.

Dance steps
Would you like to admire the talent and experience of the Bolshoi Ballet in Moscow from the comfort of a movie theater? Now you can watch the show Il Corsaro (Le Corsaire) live direct from Moscow on November 17th.

The pleasures of the Arts
Italy will celebrate the 150th anniversary of the birth of Edvard Munch with a major exhibition on display at Palazzo Ducale in Genoa, from November 6 to April 27.

The thrill of the big screen
The International Film Festival of Rome returns this year from November 8th to the 17th. There are screenings, exhibitions, events, conferences and debates for film fans.

Note: we published a short announcement about the film festival last week:

Marionette theatre
Have a great time with your children at the XXXVI Morgana Festival – The Threads of the Opera – at the Antonio Pasqualino International Puppet Museum in Palermo from the 8th to the 30th of November.
